Solo Travel And Photography

You might not end up where you thought you were going, but you will always end up at a place where you meant to be.

A solo trip is the best resort when you feel an urgent need to reset. It’s always good to be lost in a different direction.

Whether it’s solo travel or a couple of travel trip,  clicking pictures always carry weight. If you don’t click pictures while traveling, you’ll look like a different kettle of fish.

Pictures are the essence of every trip. More than you enjoy natural beauty, you’ll enjoy capturing it. Memories always have a strong imprint on your heart and mind, however, they fade with time, but the photographs will stay with you forever.

You can easily take self-worthy Instagram photographs on your solo trip alone with the help of a self-timer or a tripod or if you’re fortunate enough, even strangers might help you!

Grab the tripod and get ready for all the iconic poses that you’ve thought of capturing.
Because there’s nothing wrong in solo travel, neither in capturing your own self.

Pictures have greater stories to narrate, I am fond of both. (Pictures and Stories)

How did I survive a Solo Trip? If I can, even you can. And, to be honest, it’s more fun than groups, if you’re a person who loves spending time alone.

Self-timers

Self-timers works the best when you’re in a place on your own and you have a lot of time to kill. All you need to do is place the camera a few feet away from you and put it in the 10 seconds mode to get ready for the picture. You can always add some dance moves if the camera is in the burst mode. There will be thousands of pictures of ‘you’ running, dancing and having fun. WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT?

Strangers

Strangers, because sometimes, they are very nice. You can look for the strangers who have DSLR’s around their neck and hand over your camera to them. They are definitely going to click better pictures for you. Pose thrice and you’re done with all your favorite poses.

Check out some of my pictures captured by strangers!

Pose what you feel
Most often, you’ll feel awkward while posing, but, to be frank, you must pose what you feel. Just surround yourself with the beauty of the place and feel it. Breathe and let go. Once you feel free and wild, start posing however way you want. In case you feel shy, you can face away from the camera, for a different pose. Switch poses and styles. Choose different backgrounds, large monuments, water bodies, or everything green to make travel photography more fun.

Check out how I posed for the photographs at my solo travel!

Laugh instead of smiling

When the camera is in front of you, always laugh instead of smiling. Laughing is one of the best expressions for photography. That’s what I feel as a photographer.

Capture as much you can

To be frank, I’m a shutterbug! None of the days passes by, without me, capturing the nature around. And, on a trip, I really can’t resist capturing what’s around. Even if you leave me at a place where there’s nothing like scenic beauty, I’ll find something for my camera. (I’m not kidding, check My Instagram Account, you’ll come to know ;))

Here are some of the snapshots captured by me!!

It’s time to embrace the moment, go solo, capture more and be weird!

Looking forward to hearing your adventures on solo trips and photography!

Till then, stay tuned :)
