It's more than a 'Routine'!!!
As I came across some of the articles and blogs while surfing on the net, I realized that people think menstruation is like a daily routine for girls and they should get to used to it. I know it very well that it's a monthly cycle, but that doesn't mean that the world takes women for granted. It doesn't mean that we have a habit of bearing that pain or we have to be strong enough to handle that pain or whatever we go through.
I would like to remind all those people that menstruation is a natural process but it varies differently for every female. It's difficult to understand what women go through during this specified duration. Because it all depends upon the body systems. For some it might be an easy play, however, for some it might be the hardest thing.
People who think it's a routine and women must get used to bear the pain must understand that during this phase, the lining of the uterus breaks down and leaves the body through the vagina. This has a range of effects on the reproductive system and other organs. The amount of blood loss varies from period to period, and from woman to woman. A normal amount of blood loss during each period is between 20 and 60 ml about 4 to 12 teaspoonfuls.
