24, SINGLE, & UNMARRIED

Yes, I have been thinking about writing it for a long time, but didn't.

Here are a few questions that have been bothering me -

What is the relationship between age and marriage?
Is it necessary to get married if you have entered your twenties?
Why are parents scared or so concerned about society?
What will 'people think'? Is it something to be worried about?
Is it necessary to have a husband before you have a career?
Is it necessary to get married before you turn 30?
Are parents trying to get rid of us by marrying us to unknown strangers without our wishes?
Is it bad to have dreams and ambitions?
Is it bad if you vision yourself alone fulfilling them?


These are a few questions that have been bothering me, since the day I've entered my twenties.
I am never really able to celebrate my birthday properly because I am scared, if I get any more old, my family will tell me to get married!!


I don't think it's necessary to get married if you are not ready physically, emotionally and mentally.


What are your views about age, maturity and marriage?

Love is overrated, yet is craved by most of us. However, if you crave it, you’ll be considered a fool in this ‘so-called practical life’. I really don’t understand why people doubt the existence of love but then again crib when they don’t find love?  I am no ‘Mother Teresa’, but I do believe in the existence of love.  As a part of society, we have are expected to run like clockwork! So, if by any chance, someone asks you about marriage and you tell them about things like love, soul connections, trust, understanding, and all that stuff, then you’re gone!!  Because, my dear friend, nobody is going to believe you! They Met In The Library

To The guy at the library ,  1984 intrigued you, ‘The Great Gatsby’ saddened you, ‘The Godfather Series’ fascinated you. ‘Looking for Alaska’ made you write, ‘Stories we never tell’ made you share. You admire poetries by Bukowski, Jaun Eliya, Gulzar, and Dickinson. I realized this when I spotted you in the poetry section.  There’s a calmness on your face when you read. A calmness that has no end. No one can make out whether you’re happy, sad, thrilled, or disheartened. You put on glasses occasionally just like me. A customized journal and a pen never leave your side. Once in a while, you steal a glance. You smile a lot while you read. A quizzical smile that has no meaning.
